Hands that Heal: Learning to Trust God

hands that heal. this is a foreign concept for me. when i first started my journey into my Christ-like life, i remember hearing stories of the power of our hands. i remember hearing how God would push his powers through us to heal those around us. i enjoyed this thought very much, but truthfully i’m not sure i ever believed it to be true. because if it was, then why hadn’t he healed me?

Loving my own healing; Why I won’t apologize for my service animal anymore.

i’ve written about it before (read here), but i have a service animal. i’ve had sherlock for about 3 .5 years. initially i wasn’t too sure what to expect from him, but i knew what i wanted and i knew how i’d like to feel and be with him. over the years however, he’s morphed into something i’d never expected. he is one the biggest blessings in my life. and it is because of this, that the enemy focuses so much of his energy trying to destroy it.

See No Evil: How Should Christians Respond to Evil?

in a small suburb outside of  indianapolis, indiana, i saw something my eyes will never unsee. i felt something my spirit will never grow numb to. outside a burger king, a little girl no more than 4 years old walked out with, who i assume to be her mother and older brother. her ash colored hair was in an array, and her bright large eyes matched the large smile she had on her dirt covered face- although perhaps it was really just chocolate from a chocolate shake. i didn’t know. it didn’t bother me much.
